This handsome 5-month-old mixed breed pup is about 25 pounds of pure puppy fun, and he's ready to find the family he can grow up with! <br/><br/>Leo is playful, curious, sweet, and always ready to see what's happening around him. But there's more to this adorable face than just puppy energy. Leo is SO smart! He's already learned sit and lay down, and he's eager to keep learning with a family who will continue his training and help him become the amazing adult dog we know he can be.<br/><br/>He loves to play, explore, make new friends, and be part of the action. Whether it's an adventure outside, learning something new, or simply hanging out with his people, Leo is happiest when he's included.<br/><br/>At just 5 months old, Leo has his whole life ahead of him. He's looking for someone who will give him the love, patience, training, and guidance every puppy deserves and in return, you'll get a goofy, loving, incredibly smart best friend. <br/><br/> Leo is ready to learn, ready to love, and ready to go home!<br/><br/>Could Leo be the missing piece your family has been looking for? <br/><br/>The adoption fee is $400 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.<br/><br/> Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission. If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee. It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member. <br/><br/>*****We are currently operating by appointment only due to a shortage of personnel. If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com. Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal. If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home. The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster.
