Lenox aka Bubba is a 7yo 18lb Shih Tzu. He’s small dog, cat and kids 8+ friendly. He’s house and crate trained. He’s good in a secure fenced in yard along with going for harness leashed walks, but gets excited when he sees other dog so needs work on training if taking walks. He needs to have time to warm up and not have people right in his personal space. He needs to be allowed to come to you then can be a cuddly lap dog who also likes to play with squeaky toys. He loves having a person to himself and getting tons of belly rubs.<br/><br/>Lenox foster requires a home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, people respectful of his personal space when he wants it, no kids under 8yo around him since he doesn’t like his personal space invaded, a person to himself, along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far.<br/><br/>Lenox as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first.<br/><br/>Lenox is neutered, vaccinated, hw negative and microchipped.
