Lenore "Norah"'s Story

Meet Lenore 🤍

Lenore is the definition of a gentle soul. When she first meets new people she can be a little timid, but give her a little patience and space and you’ll quickly see her true personality shine. Once she feels safe, Lenore becomes your little shadow—following you from room to room just to be near her people.

This sweet girl has come such a long way. When she first arrived she weighed just 31 lbs, and now she’s a healthy 42 lbs and thriving! She’s learned that car rides are actually pretty great and now hops in like a total pro.

Lenore is everything you’d want in a companion: snuggly, playful, and incredibly loving. She’s happiest curled up next to her people and will happily sleep in her own bed... or yours if you’ll let her. She has wonderful manners, walks nicely on leash, knows sit, is fully potty trained, and is very gentle—she doesn’t jump up and takes treats softly.

She absolutely adores other dogs and would do best in a home with at least one canine friend to help her continue building confidence. Lenore is also wonderful with kids and has been around toddlers as young as 18 months with her calm, gentle nature.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving dog who just wants to be part of the family, Lenore might be your perfect match. Once she chooses you, you’ll have the sweetest shadow by your side forever. 🐾
