Stay tuned for more info on Lenny! This 42 lb (overweight!) hunk of love is coming to STAR. He’s a Doxie mix, 6.5 years old.<br/>Sadly, his owner passed and in the last couple years, while he was deeply loved, his owner wasn’t able to exercise him or get him to the vet. He is getting settled into a foster home, has a vet appointment etc and we’ll share more soon! We do know that he’s a sweetie! Loves walks which will help with his weight loss goals 😅 And he does really well in the car, loves to go for a ride. <br/>Welcome to better days ahead 🫶🏼 Available for adoption in MA or NH.

Survivor Tails Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

Our adoption process consist of an application, personal, vet and landlord references, and a home visit. The adoption process can take anywhere from 5 days to 2 weeks. We ask that you have your references waiting for our call, to expedite the process! Our adoption fees are $500 for dogs and $200 for cats We can only adopt in the states of Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Hampshire. We are a foster-based animal rescue, therefor we do not have a shelter. We feel as though this is an important step in the rehabilitation process, and prepares our animals for life in their forever home. Once we have an adoption application, we will gladly set up a meet and greet! Also

Our Mission

As an all-volunteer animal rescue, we are ALWAYS looking for new volunteers and FOSTER HOMES. We need everything from application processors, event staff, transporters, home visits, and ESPECIALLY fosters. Since we are a shelter-less organization, foster homes truly are the backbone to our organization. Survivo...
