Lenny's Story
Lenny is available for adoption!

Lenny, Squiggy and Fonzie are three small 2 year old beagles who are all available for adoption. They do love to play with each other but they love other dogs as well, and would even do OK as the only dog as long as they get lots of attention, so they don't need to be adopted together.

Lenny is a happy dog that enjoys a lap, a scratch and a good TV show. He likes to run around outside but hasn't had much leash training. He sleeps in his crate at night with no issues and sleeps through the night.

He gets along well with the two other foster dogs in his home, but will let them know when he isn't happy with them. He does good in a car and likes to see the sites. Most of all he just wants to hang out with his people.

He hasn't shown any anxiety when being left alone for a short time but he does have other dogs to keep him company.

He is a small framed dog and should weigh 17-19 pounds but right now is a little chubby at about 25 pounds, so we do have him on a diet. We want to make sure his adopter continues to work with him on his weight loss.

As you can see in some of the pictures, when he is relaxing his tongue will slip outside his mouth in a very cute pose. Someone is going to be very lucky to get this little guy. We really hope he finds his new home by Christmas.

For an application go to www.homesfurhounds.org
