LENNY's Story
PLEASE VISIT THE WEBSITE ADOPTION INFO PAGE FOR APPLICATION
WIREFOXRESCUEMIDWEST.COM

LENNY the little Wire Fox boy with the most adorable face and donkey style ears is waiting for his Forever Home. He is 2.5 years old, a sleek build weighing 19 pounds, coarse wiry coat with a new haircut to even out. Lenny adores people, being with you and part of a family. His laid back with an affectionate personality that is heartwarming. He would enjoy an active lifestyle, runs like a gazelle in the back yard leaping and thrilled at how fast he can run. He runs down the bridge and leaps off the end dismissing the set of 7 stairs. He explores the yard for critters and squirrels. Lenny enjoys going for walks on the leash and exploring different areas. He is a good boy in the house, quiet and well mannered. Very respectful while on the furniture and beds and a great cuddler getting in nice and close and resting his head on your lap. Lenny is friendly with other dogs and has so much fun playing chase and having a good time. Lenny would love a home where someone did not work full-time, had the time to spend with him and enjoy the finer things in life. He is so lonely from his isolation received his first 2 years of life and being contained – so unnecessary - crating is not in the playbook for him. He can get scared at night if alone and prefers sleeping with you on the bed or in a doggie bed in the room. He is housetrained, smart and very obedient and only wants to please you – he is a gem. I do think for him, a secure fenced yard would be best for his energy level. Lenny had his Rabies, Distemper and Bordatella vaccinations, Bloodwork panel returned great, Fecal sent out was Negative, Received Drontal Plus worming as he had the fleas, 4dx Heartworm Test Negative, on Revolution, was neutered with absorbable sutures, Cytopoint Injection and micro chipped. Lenny is located at WFTRM CHICAGO.
