Lenny's Story

Meet this irresistible little lovebug 💛

This adorable low-rider sweetheart is a Chihuahua–Dachshund mix, about 10–11 months old and a perfect 12 pounds of pure charm. With her short legs, soft tan coat, and snuggly personality, she turns heads everywhere she goes—and she knows exactly how to melt hearts.

She is wonderful on a leash, easy to walk, and a total social butterfly. She loves children, dogs, and even cats, and greets everyone she meets with a friendly, gentle spirit. She would thrive in a home with other dogs or as a constant companion to someone who enjoys having their pup by their side.

This little girl forms deep bonds with her people and truly becomes part of the family. She does have a touch of separation anxiety, which shows up as sitting patiently and occasionally howling when her person leaves—but she is not destructive at all. She simply waits, trusting that her favorite human will come back. Because of this, she’d be happiest with someone who is home often, works from home, or loves taking their dog along for daily adventures. She also would benefit from having another dog around. And she does after a bit of time grow out of her separation anxiety as she starts to feel safe and knows that you’re coming home.

Once she chooses “her person,” her devotion is unmatched. She’s affectionate, loyal, and endlessly loving—the kind of dog who will curl up next to you on the couch, follow you from room to room, and make your house feel like home.

If you’re looking for a small, sweet, deeply devoted companion who will love you with her whole heart, this little girl might just be the one. 💕
