Lenny's Story

Meet sweet Lenny, who is about 10-12 wk old German Shepherd mix puppy who came into rescue with his two siblings, Breezy and Buster. Sweet Lenny has settled into his foster home he shares with 4 other puppies and several adult dogs, and does great. He LOVES to be outside right in the middle of everything, whether you're working outside or just hanging out. He's just a happy go lucky guy, who wants to be with you. Lenny would do best in a home with another dog as a mentor and kids would also be a plus. It's also not thought Lenny will be very large in size. Lenny will go to his forever home with his collar/leash, bowls, food to acclimate, Bed and toys he's come to love! <br/>Applications to adopt can be completed from our webpage at causeforpaws.net<br/>Adoption radius of 100 miles applies<br/>Adoption fee $400

Cause For Paws's Adoption Policy
In order to encourage folks to rescue homeless Orphans, we try to make the rescue experience as non-invasive and pleasant as possible. First, an application is completed prior to meeting any of our orphans. Since we do not have a shelter, it’s important to be able to pre-qualify folks that will be making appointments with fosters, to meet any of our orphans. We do a vet check, to verify all current or previous dogs are up to date on vaccines, heartworm testing, heartworm prevention, and are either spayed or neutered. We may also contact references listed on the application when there is no previous vet information, or where more information is needed. We’ll then contact you to arrange a home visit, which is merely an opportunity to ask and answer any questions regarding our process. Since most of our orphans have already been in a situation that was not right for them, we want to do whatever it takes to allow them to succeed. It is not our intent to set a dog or a family up for failure.
