Lennon's Story
Lennon first came into rescue in early 2024. He was found tied to a fence, abandoned. His original rescuer worked with him to get him used to walking on a leash, and introduced him to other people and pets. They could not keep him so we stepped in.

Lennon is gorgeous, but he is so much more than just a cute face. When he bonds with a person, he loves them and protects them. He was adopted in 2024 but it just didn't work out : the home did not have a fence, so he had to be leash walked. Lennon acted out towards people, pets, lawn mowers, golf carts, etc. He could have been very well protecting his human, but he was also super vigilant about anything/anyone outside.

Lennon was returned to rescue May 2025.For any future adoption consideration for Lennon, a fully fenced yard will be required. A home without a ton of "foot traffic" aka people in and out. No kids. He would respond BEST to a home with another calm, non-barky playful companion dog. He LOVES to play. He loves ball and loves all other toys too! And don't forget the treats!

Lennon did great once he came back in and remembered his canine buddies.

www.ratbonertr.org
