Lennie's Story

Meet Lennie

Lennie is a sweet little homebody who finds comfort in her safe space and enjoys outside time in a place she is comfortable--cue the zoomies across the lawn! She's learning that the big world isn't so scary and is already showing how quickly she can adapt with a little patience and encouragement. A fenced yard would be a dream for her as she builds confidence at her own pace.

Lennie is observant and takes her cues from the dogs around her, which makes a confident canine companion in her forever home the perfect guide and built-in best friend. Once she feels secure, her playful side shines, and she happily follows her dog buddy's lead--even when meeting new people.

She may be slow to trust at first, but that's only because she bonds deeply. When Lennie chooses you, you're her person for life. At home, she's calm, quiet, and content, equally happy lounging in her crate or curled up for a cuddle session.

Lennie would do well in either an apartment or a house, as long as her family understands that patience and reassurance go a long way and that getting her comfortable with a busy apartment complex for walks will take time and patience. She is not suited for homes with cats, as her enthusiasm for chase games is a bit too strong.

For the right home, Lennie will be a loyal, loving companion whose confidence blossoms more every day. Lennie will be a great addition to your home if you give her the time to shine!
