Leni is a very happy and social dog who wants her world to be big! She wants more humans, more dogs, playdates, adventures, walks, games of fetch—you name it. She is fearless and full of enthusiasm. She is house-trained and kennel-trained, but will gladly choose your bed if you let her. Leni will catch on to your schedule fast and has shown no separation anxiety. Snuggles are one of her favorite things, and she’ll reward belly rubs with her signature “happy bear noises.” Leni would thrive with an active family who can match her zest for life. One Tail at a Time - West Texas's Adoption Policy

All OTAT-WTX dogs are well-assessed; most become available for adoption after settling into foster homes where we learn loads about them. With rare exception, our pets are fully vetted before becoming available to adopt. Note that there is $150 minimum adoption fee (for dogs and cats and rabbits; if adopting a pair of kittens, the adoption fee is $200). In case of financial hardship, a minimum number of adoption fees may be waived.

One Tail at a Time - West Texas (OTAT-WTX) is based in Marfa, TX and works across hundreds of miles of rugged, remote borderland - there’s frequently no cell service, no water, almost no retail, no medical services.
