She’s the kind of dog who’s ready to make the most of every moment—whether that’s zooming around the yard, heading out for a walk (she’s great on leash!), or just hanging out with her people. If you’re looking for a companion to keep you active and smiling, Lemon is your girl.<br/><br/>She gets along well with other dogs but isn’t overly focused on them, and even on walks, she stays calm and nonreactive when passing other dogs. Lemon is just as happy doing her own thing as she is spending time with her people. Affectionate and loving, she enjoys attention and happily returns it with tail wags and plenty of love.<br/><br/>Lemon is still polishing up a few life skills, but with patience and consistency, she’s eager to keep learning and growing. If you’re ready for a fun-loving, affectionate, adventure-ready companion, Lemon is ready to meet you!<br/>---<br/><br/>We do not adopt on a first-come-first-serve basis, but rather by the best match between dog and family, although we will factor in the order of applications if there are equally good matches.<br/><br/>Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $500 which covers the costs of vetting (spay, vaccinations, heartworm testing, preventatives while in our care, deworming and microchip) and any boarding or transport fees incurred in each dog's rescue. Senior dogs are $250.
