Lelo's Story

Meet Lelo.

Lelo is 16 years old, weighs just 6 pounds, and is one of the sweetest little souls you'll ever meet. It's clear she's been neglected for a long time, but despite everything she's endured, her spirit is incredible. She's not ready to give up, and neither are we.

We're getting her on the right medications, giving her the nutrition she needs, and making sure she's surrounded by love while she heals. Like many senior dogs, she has a few age-related medical issues that we're monitoring, including a heart murmur. Because of that, surgery won't be an option if she ever needs it, but our veterinarians believe she could still have many happy months—maybe even years—ahead of her with the right care.

Now all Lilo needs is the one thing we can't give her: a family of her own.

She deserves to spend the rest of her life knowing what it feels like to be safe, cherished, and loved every single day. If you've ever thought about opening your heart to a senior dog, this precious little girl is waiting for you.

Please help us give Lilo the happy ending she's always deserved.
