Meet Leia!<br/>8 years old Good with dogs & cats A little tank with a whole lot of personality!<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a dog with an old soul, a playful heart, and the cutest little waddle you’ve ever seen, Leia might just be your girl!<br/><br/>Leia is an adorable 8-year-old sweetheart who may be a little extra fluffy, but don’t let that fool you — this girl is spry! She can jump onto a surprisingly high bed despite her extra weight, and she can run just as fast as some of the young dogs around her. She absolutely loves to play and will often throw herself into a classic “downward dog” pose to invite the other dogs to play. <br/><br/>She’s also a bit of a fun police and likes to keep an eye on what everyone else is doing. She knows her name very well, has excellent recall, and listens beautifully. She is house trained and crate trained, although she really has no need for a crate in her foster home.<br/><br/>Leia is good with both dogs and cats and enjoys having canine friends around. She is also good with children, but because she can be a little skittish when approached, we feel she would be best suited to a home with older children or teenagers who understand how to give a dog a little space and let her come to them.<br/><br/>And then there are those eyes.<br/>Leia has the eyes of an old soul — the kind that seem to tell you she’s seen a few things in her life. She’s gentle, sweet, and absolutely beautiful.<br/><br/>She hasn’t given us much reason to believe she’s a big barker either... although she definitely “talks” and has her own little ways of letting you know what she thinks. <br/><br/>And her ears?! We can’t get over them. With those adorable ear buns, she looks like Princess Leia herself!<br/><br/>Leia may be an 8-year-old little tank, but she certainly hasn’t gotten the memo that she’s supposed to slow down with age. She’s playful, surprisingly athletic, affectionate in her own way, and has so much personality packed into one very cute body.<br/><br/>Leia is ready to find her forever family — preferably one who appreciates a good waddle, a little sass, and a whole lot of love.<br/><br/>House trained<br/>Crate trained (but doesn't need one)<br/><br/>Voici Leia !<br/><br/>8 ans S'entend bien avec les chiens et les chats Un petit tank avec une grande personnalité ! Si vous cherchez une chienne avec un vieil âme mais avec un jeune cœur joueur avec une démarche dandinante mignonne, Leia est peut-être celle qu'il vous faut !<br/><br/>Leia est une adorable chienne de 8 ans; elle est peut-être un peu enrobée, mais ne vous y trompez pas: elle est une bonne vivante!<br/><br/>Elle est capable de sauter sur un lit haut malgré son surpoids et peut courir aussi vite que certains jeunes chiens de son entourage. Elle adore jouer et adopte souvent la posture classique du downward dog afin d’inviter les autres chiens à s'amuser.<br/><br/>Elle aime aussi jouer à la police un peu afin de garder les autres en ligne. Elle connaît très bien son nom, a un excellent rappel et obéit à merveille. Elle est propre et habituée à la cage, même si elle n'en a pas besoin. Leia s'entend bien avec les chiens et avec les chats et apprécie la compagnie de copains canins. Elle est également sociable avec les enfants, mais comme elle peut être un peu craintive lorsqu'on l'approche, nous pensons qu'elle serait plus heureuse dans un foyer avec des enfants plus âgés ou des adolescents qui savent respecter son espace et la laisser venir vers eux.<br/> <br/>Et puis, il y a ses yeux. <br/><br/>Leia a le regard d’une vieille âme, celui qui semble dire qu'elle a vécu bien des choses. Elle est douce, affectueuse et gentille. Elle aboie peu mais elle parle volontiers et a sa propre façon de vous faire savoir ce qu'elle pense. Et ses oreilles en forme d’adorables petits chignons, elle ressemble à la princesse Leia en personne !<br/><br/>Leia a beau être une petite boule d'énergie trapue de 8 ans, elle n'a clairement pas reçu le mémo lui disant de ralentir avec l'âge. Elle est joueuse, athlétique et affectueuse à sa façon ; un grand caractère dans un tout petit corps trop mignon. Leia est prête à trouver sa famille pour la vie — de préférence une famille qui apprécie sa démarche dandinante, son petit côté espiègle et sa grande dose d'amour.<br/><br/>Propre<br/>Habituée à la cage (mais n'en a pas besoin)
