She was living in her waste, starving, suffering, and being eaten up by mosquitoes. One of those pesky flying demons is guilty of infecting Leia with heartworms. Thankfully, a good samaritan saw Leia's condition and called for help. She was rescued and her life changed forever! Leia is in a loving foster home now and is being spoiled rotten. She has been vetted, microchipped, and spayed. She has undergone heartworm treatment and is ready to start a new life. This was an expensive treatment.
