Although new situations can make me nervous, my brave side is coming out more and more each day.<br/><br/>Training & Behaviour<br/>I enjoy my daily walks and walk nicely on a leash. When I see other dogs, Im usually a bit timid and prefer to quietly pass by them rather than interact. Im well-mannered in the house and generally keep a low profile. Im still working on my house-training skills and will need consistency and patience as I continue learning.<br/><br/>What I Need<br/>Im looking for a calm, understanding home that will give me the time I need to settle in and build trust. A family that celebrates my small victories and helps me gain confidence at my own pace would be perfect. In return, Ill be a devoted companion who loves being close to my people.<br/><br/>Health<br/>Leela tested positive for Ehrlichia, a tick-borne disease that is being proactively treated. She is currently completing a 28-day course of medication and will be all cleared once her treatment is complete.<br/><br/>Fun Fact<br/>My superpower is bravery in progress!
