Leah's Story

Leah is confident, silly, and endlessly affectionate, the kind of girl who will roll around on her back like a little piggy the second you offer belly rubs. She's friendly, gentle, and loves a good game of fetch or a solid lounging session on the couch, whichever the day calls for. She's fully housebroken and does well in the car, making her an easy travel companion.

Leah does enjoy the company of other dogs and can play well. She can be a bit possessive over food, so a home where that's understood and feeding is separate would be lovely. She walks fairly well on a leash and is eager to keep learning, especially around building better manners with toy sharing.
She's looking for a semi active, quiet home where she can relax and get plenty of love.

Age: 5 years
Weight: 52 lbs
Other Dogs: plays well with others
Cats: Needs further testing
Kids: Teens 16 and up recommended
Home Type: Semi active, quiet home, lounging lifestyle preferred

If you are interested in adopting Leah please fill out our online application at highsierraanimalrescue.org.
