She has a soft, gentle nature and a tail that never stops hoping. She is the kind of puppy who wants to know the rules and follow them, because more than anything she wants you to be happy with her.<br/><br/>For a baby, she is remarkably well mannered. She already knows sit, and she walks beautifully on a leash, trotting along beside you like she has been practicing for the life you are about to give her. She takes treats with the gentlest mouth.<br/><br/>Leah is also dog friendly. She greets other dogs politely and lets them set the tone, so she could fit wonderfully into a home with a resident dog who would enjoy a sweet little sister.<br/><br/>She is a puppy, so she has a lifetime of learning ahead, and she will need the patience, routine, and love that every young dog deserves. In return you get to watch this gentle girl grow up into the great dog she is clearly going to be.<br/><br/>We prefer to schedule appointments for meet and greets to make sure someone is available to spend time with you. The shelter is open Monday through Friday, 10am to 3pm, and appointments outside of those hours may be available based on volunteer availability.
