Leah's Story

Leah arrived at Saving Grace in February 2020 after a stressful stay at Lubbock Animal Services, but since coming here, her sweet personality has absolutely shined! This beautiful girl is a confident, middle-aged, 50lb dog, who loves all people and gives the very best hugs. She's got a lot to say, and you'll quickly learn her unique sounds and vocalizations when she wants to tell you something exciting!

Leah is a natural athlete and is bursting with fun-loving energy. She would make the perfect running partner for an active person! Some of her favorite activities include playing tug-of-war with a rope and happily chasing after big Jolly balls in the yard. Leah would thrive as the single focus of your attention, as she needs to be the only pet in her forever home. If you're ready for an affectionate, active, and communicative companion, contact us to meet Leah today!

Leah is located at Saving Grace Rescue LBK in Wilson, TX. www.savinggracelbk.org.

Apply to adopt here: https://form.jotform.com/220199338769066

Leah is also available for adoption throughout the PNW, Midwest and Northeast through Project Freedom Ride. Saving Grace Rescue LBK's Adoption Policy
Our adoption fee is $225 (locally). This fee goes toward the cost of our vetting expenses for the dog, which includes the dog being spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. We require an application and home visit for adoption of one of our dogs. We want to ensure our dogs are placed in forever homes and are not in a situation that would be unsafe for the dog or perpetuate the misconceptions surrounding Pit Bulls. We prefer that adopters be at least 21 years old, but we will consider applicants under 21 on a case by case basis - so please still fill out an application. Please keep in mind that we know our dogs well; behavior, temperament, special needs, etc. Any decisions we make are in trying to do what's best for our dogs and the homes that we adopt them into. **If you are adopting out of state and we are sending a dog for adoption through our partner, Project Freedom Ride, the adoption fee is $500 which covers all vetting requirements and transport costs.**
