Layla's Story

Layla Gave Everything — Now It’s Her Turn

Layla is 3 years old, 60 pounds, and the proud mama of former Dog Orphans Tippy, Ears, Lucky, Charm, Stormy, and Champ — all of whom have found their forever homes. Now it’s Layla’s turn.

Before she ever knew what it meant to be someone’s dog, Layla was a mother first. After being abandoned at a shelter by the person who was supposed to care for her, she still gave her babies everything she had. Through it all, she never lost her gentle, loving spirit.

Layla is incredibly sweet and affectionate — the kind of dog who will look at you like you are her whole world. She also has a fun, energetic side and loves being outside, going for walks, and enjoying life’s little adventures.

She has worked hard to become the best version of herself and completed an intensive training program. Layla responds beautifully to a vibrating collar system, and with continued guidance, she will thrive in the right home. She is smart, eager to connect, and ready to bond deeply with her person.

Layla does have a strong prey drive, so she will need a home without small animals. Because she is full of enthusiasm and energy, she would do best in an adult-only home or with experienced owners who understand her needs.

Layla is not “too much.”
She is loving, loyal, and still waiting for someone to choose her.

After raising her puppies and watching them all find homes, Layla is still here, hoping her person will come for her too. She has given everything to everyone else. Now it is finally her turn to be the one cared for, loved, and safe.

Please help us share Layla so she can find the forever home she deserves

Interested in Layla?
