Layla's Story
Layla was turned over to us when her previous owner got in over their heads and purchased two puppies at the same time: Lizzy & Layla. The girls were just thrown outside in a cage out back and had no socialization at all. When they came to us in rescue, they were pretty close to feral. You couldn't touch them, couldn't pet them, anything, without them crashing into the ground and urinating all over themselves. They have come SO far since then! They know basic commands like sit, off, down & are crate trained, and no longer have that tragic fear that they once did. Layla is the spunkier of the two and total life of the party. You will laugh at her for hours. She is so goofy & funny & has a personality for days. She does have a sensitive belly so she is currently eating only salmon food.
