Please read entire descriptionMeet Layla!<br/><br/>Layla is a 2-year-old, 10-pound Chihuahua and wire-haired terrier mix (we suspect she may have a little Jack Russell in her, though she doesn’t share that breed’s high energy level). Her personality leans much more toward the gentle, devoted nature of a Chihuahua.<br/><br/>This sweet and sensitive girl makes friends quickly and bonds closely with her people. Layla came into rescue very pregnant and lovingly raised seven beautiful puppies. Now that her babies are weaned, it’s finally her turn to be pampered and cherished in a forever home.<br/><br/>Layla is still young and enjoys playtime just as much as cuddle time. She’s happiest when she’s near her person. She will need some continued potty training, so a home where someone is around frequently to help her learn and build confidence would be ideal.<br/><br/>We are looking for:<br/><br/>A securely fenced yard<br/><br/>A home without small children (she can be easily startled)<br/><br/>A family committed to giving her daily walks and gentle guidance<br/><br/>Layla is good with other dogs but has not yet been cat tested.<br/><br/>She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm tested.
