Laya's Story
We feel that the golden years should be celebrated not only by people, but animals as well. Meet our senior citizen Laya who is entering her golden years and we want that time to be extra special for her. We are told that she is 12 years-old but she certainly doesn't act it. She has quite a bit of energy for an elderly gal. We were also told that she has lived with another dog but we don’t have any firsthand knowledge of how she would be living with other animals. Laya would likely do well with kids who are respectful of animals. She seems to love everyone that she meets. Laya enjoys her walks and time spent outside. She likes her nap time equally as much. She is blind in one eye and she has trouble hearing but that doesn’t seem to limit her. She deserves a retirement home where she can be loved and live out her years in comfort. Please call the shelter to learn more or stop by any afternoon to meet Laya.
