Lavender's Story
Meet Lavender, a one-year-old golden retriever with 48 pounds of beauty, bravery, and quiet resilience. Like her namesake, she’s a little delicate, a little soothing, and absolutely worth slowing down for. Lavender didn’t have the easiest start, but she’s proof that strength doesn’t always roar—sometimes it blooms.

Lavender is learning that the world can be kind. She approaches life thoughtfully, taking her time as she rebuilds trust and confidence, and she does best with people who understand that patience is not a delay, it’s a gift. Every small win with her feels big—each tail wag, each soft glance, each step forward is a moment to celebrate.

She’s also what we lovingly call a “keep-me-safe” kind of girl. Lavender will need a family committed to secure spaces, mindful handling, and setting her up for success as she learns that she doesn’t need to run from life anymore. Think of it as being her calm anchor while she figures out that she’s finally home.

Lavender is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has passed her 4DX test with flying colors—no heartworm, no tick disease, just a healthy pup ready for her next chapter. If you’re someone who believes that love grows best when nurtured gently and consistently, Lavender is ready to put down roots with you and let her confidence blossom.

Want to meet her?
