LAVANDA's Story
Lavanda was rescued alongside nearly 50 other dogs from a severe hoarding situation in Tecate. She lived in a neglectful environment where she had to compete just to survive. But since coming to Dulce Vida Rescue, Lavanda has proven that her sweet, delicate spirit could never be broken!

She is as lovely and soothing as her name. With her scruffy little chin whiskers, tall expressive ears, and soulful dark eyes, she is completely irresistible. She has a calm, soft presence and loves relaxing in sunny spots or cuddling up close.

Lavanda holds zero grudges about her past and eagerly welcomes love, belly rubs, and gentle pets from her humans.

Lavanda is looking for a forever home where she will never have to worry about neglect again. She’d make a wonderful lap dog, cozy couch companion, or gentle sidekick for peaceful daily walks.

Lavanda survived the storm—now she’s ready for her rainbow.
