Laura's Story

Laura is a sweet, loving, gentle energetic little girl! She is a 1.5 yr old, 41#, female terrier-poodle with a black, curly coat. Laura gets along with both large and small dogs. She doesn't live with cats but is smart, so with time I think she could adjust! We haven't seen her interact with children, but expect she would be fine with respectful kids 6 yr and older. She loves all humans that will give her attention!
Laura loves going for car rides, walks, playing catch outside & snuggling up at the end of the day! Laura is a very smart girl who would do great in obedience class! She knows how to "sit" on command, and is learning "off" when it comes to being on furniture (although she does get to go up on the dog's sofa). She is also learning "out" as dogs are not allowed in kitchen when foster is cooking.
Laura is potty trained and will go to the back door and bark when she needs to go out. She is crate trained and spends 6-8 hours a day in one with no accidents.
Laura loves sleeping in her dog bed in the master bedroom. Being so young, she still has some puppy-like behaviors, and needs approved things to chew on. Might play "fetch" with you for a while, but really enjoys playing with another dog, so a fenced yard and another canine pal would be ideal.
Laura is spayed, and current on distemper, rabies and bordetella vaccinations. Her 4DX (which includes the heartworm test) is all negative. The microchip is registered to Second Chance. Laura has a $350 adoption fee. Please call 651-771-5662 if you are interested in meeting Laura.
