LATTE's Story

Meet Latte. This beautiful 1-year-old female Cairn Terrier mix has a quiet, thoughtful presence and a gentle soul. She’s very much a Velcro dog — happiest when she’s close to her person, finding comfort just being near. Latte is more reserved and dignified by nature, taking her time to observe and understand the world around her as she learns what it truly means to be a dog.

Right now, Latte isn’t very interested in treats or toys, but that may change as she continues to feel safe and settled in her surroundings. She’s working on potty training and making steady progress. While she tolerates her sister, Latte definitely prefers her own space and can get a bit annoyed — she knows what she likes, and that’s okay.

Latte’s past was not kind. She was heartbreakingly left in a crate on the side of the road with three of her siblings, an experience no dog should ever endure. It’s understandable that she carries some trauma, but despite it all, she is showing resilience and trust in her loving foster home. With patience, consistency, and gentle reassurance, Latte is beginning to blossom.

She’s now safe, cared for, and preparing for her forever home — one that will appreciate her calm nature, respect her pace, and give her the love she has always deserved. Latte may not rush into your arms, but once she chooses you, she’ll stay right by your side.

Adoption fee includes: Spay, microchip, vaccinations
