This handsome shepherd mix puppy is around 5 months old, weighs about 40 lbs, and has only just begun his fresh start. Lasso was recently pulled from Cobb County Animal Control, where the shelter environment had become overwhelming for him. He was very scared when we met him, and like many sensitive dogs, the stress of kennel life was causing him to become more and more fearful as time went on.<br/><br/>Now that he’s safe with rescue, Lasso is getting the chance to decompress, exhale, and learn that the world can be a kinder place. Because he is so new to us, we are intentionally giving him the time and space he needs to settle in before making any big claims about his personality. Right now, our focus is helping him feel safe, build confidence, and adjust to life outside the shelter.<br/><br/>What we do know already is that Lasso is a beautiful young dog with so much potential ahead of him.
