This beautiful girl is Lassie. She is estimated to be 10 to 12 months old and weighs 38 lbs. We don't know what her mix is. Maybe some sort of shepherd in there but she's slim and just over knee high, so who knows. Lass was posted in an email that was sent to several Rescues begging for help. She was on death row in a shelter in Georgia and only had hours before dying by a heart stick. The shelter was over full and the dogs who had been there the longest were scheduled to die. We spoke up for her and after almost 4 weeks of getting her out of the shelter, into a boarding facility and all of her vet care done, she was finally on her long journey to Rossford, Ohio.<br/>This is one amazing pup! She has looks, brains and personality plus. Lass is very smart, obedient and friendly. She's a happy go lucky sort who gets along with everyone and never challenges the other dogs or people. She was curious with the chihuahuas in her foster home, like "what the heck are you", but never tried to hurt or chase them. She loves being outside and running around the yard and then sitting quietly close by the people. If your looking for a medium size pup to add to your happy home, Lass is your girl!
