Larry is the kind of little guy who is going to make someone incredibly happy — the type of dog you feel lucky to have the privilege of adopting. Cute doesn’t even begin to cover it.<br/><br/>Believe it or not, Larry and his two brothers, Curly and Moe, were spotted sitting in a kennel with a “Free Christmas Puppies” sign. Our volunteer arrived just in time to scoop them up before the rain came down. Puppies should never be handed out for free to just anyone, especially without vaccinations or proper veterinary care. Larry deserves a family who is fully committed to doing everything needed for him for the rest of his life.<br/><br/>Larry is a true character — sweet, playful, a little mischievous, and slightly timid as he learns about the world. He does well with other dogs, cats, and kids who are old enough to understand how to be gentle and careful with a small puppy. These pups appear to be on the small-breed side. While we can’t guarantee adult size, they are currently tracking to be around 15–20 pounds full grown, and we’re looking for adopters who will love Larry no matter his size.<br/><br/>We don’t know Larry’s breed mix, but guesses include Chihuahua mixed with something else — maybe Jack Russell or Rat Terrier — and he definitely has some classic Chihuahua personality traits. (The $525 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to New Hampshire or Rhode Island due to import restrictions.<br/><br/>VETTING:<br/><br/>All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. Note: We cannot guarantee full grown size or breed mix.
