Lara's Story

Lara had a rough start to life. She spent the first two and a half years of her life in a “home” with more than 40 dogs. When she arrived to rescue, we were pretty confident that we were the first people to ever hold her. She was stiff nervous but interested in getting pets. Slowly she learned to trust and even enjoy spending time with her foster mom. Lara is good with other dogs and has been great with the children she has met at our events.
