Meet Lantern! <br/>This little ray of sunshine is Lantern, a 4-month-old small-breed terrier mix who is ready to discover just how wonderful life can be! <br/>Lantern came to us from a hoarding situation, so the big, new world can still feel a little overwhelming to her. She can be shy and fearful when experiencing new things, but this sweet girl has already blossomed SO much! She loves meeting new people and is doing wonderfully as she learns how fun walks and leash adventures can be. <br/>At just 4 months old, Lantern is still learning about the world and will need a family willing to give her a little extra patience, encouragement, and time to build her confidence. Because of her initial fearfulness, she would do best in a home without young children. Its not required, but a fenced in yard would be a plus due to her initial fearfulness and still learning about the world!<br/>Lantern has lived with other dogs and, with a proper introduction, may enjoy having a canine companion to help show her the ropes! <br/>And once she feels comfortable? She is the sweetest little snuggle bug who absolutely loves belly rubs and soaking up affection. <br/>Lantern has already come such a long way, and we cant wait to see her continue to shine in a home of her own.
