Langley's Story
This adorable girl is looking for an active family to call her own! She's incredibly smart, learns quickly, and is eager to please.

She has been doing wonderfully in her foster home. She loves playing with her canine friend, Togo, and would enjoy having another playful dog in the home or an active family who can keep her engaged.

She has also done well with the resident cat. While she occasionally likes to chase him, it's playful curiosity, and she's continuing to learn appropriate boundaries.

Although she hasn't lived with small children, she has been friendly and relaxed with everyone she's met, including people and children walking by the fence. She's very social and enjoys meeting new people.

She recently visited the groomer for a bath and nail trim. She was fantastic for her bath and, while she was a little nervous about having her nails trimmed, she remained cooperative and handled the experience very well.

Like many cattle dogs, she has a natural instinct to nip at feet and heels, especially during play or when she's excited. This is typical herding behavior, and she's already making great progress with consistent guidance and training.

She's also doing an excellent job with house training. She reliably lets her foster know when she needs to go outside, and the few accidents she's had were simply because her cues were missed. She has never had an accident in her crate. At bedtime or when crated, she may bark for a minute or two before settling down quietly.

If you're looking for a loyal, intelligent, affectionate companion to join you on hikes, walks, adventures, or simply an active everyday lifestyle, this sweet girl could be the perfect match!

She is ready to find a family who will continue her training, appreciate her herding breed personality, and give her the love and activity she deserves.

For more up to date information on this dog please go to our website @ https://www.playk9rescue.org/adopt-a-dog The adoption fee for this pet covers the cost of care and training which may have been for several weeks or several months depending on the health and training needs.
