Langdon's Story
Meet Langdon Langdon is an adorable pup from our “New Leash on Life” program, and he's ready to find a forever family to call his own! At around 12 weeks old and currently weighing about 13 pounds, we expect him to grow into a medium-sized dog. While his exact breed mix is a bit of a mystery, his mom appears to be a beagle/hound mix (possibly with some lab), and Langdon is equal parts adorable, intelligent, and full of personality.

Langdon had an incredible start through the New Leash on Life prison training program, where he worked one-on-one on important skills like sit, stay, leash walking, and potty training. He's had lots of socialization with people, puppies, and adult dogs, and one thing is clear—this boy is SMART. He's eager to learn and catches on quickly.

Now in foster care, Langdon is thriving. While he's super cute and incredibly smart, Langdon is definitely on the feisty side and not overly mellow pups. He's playful, confident, and very much a busy little guy who likes to stay involved in everything.

He can be mouthy (hello, puppy phase ), vocal when he has opinions, and he's a strong puller on leash. He does well with confident handling and structure. Langdon will thrive with an adopter who understands that smart, energetic puppies need consistency, continued training, and clear boundaries.

The good news? He's already got a fantastic foundation and so much potential. With the right home, Langdon is going to grow into an amazing, loyal companion—and probably keep you laughing along the way.

If you're interested in meeting Langdon, please submit an application at bcaaofnj.org
