Laney, best baby wants a playmate! Australian Shepherd & American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Seattle, WA

Meet Miss Laney! She is sweetest and most adorable Aussie mix puppy ever! Little Lane is just 12 weeks old, weighs 22lbs and is playful and energetic. Laney was rescued from a home that had several small children, several dogs and not any time for her. She is now seeking her truly forever active family who will give her the time, attention and training she needs and desires. Laney LOVES other dogs and therefore are seeking a home with another very playful dog. A well trained slightly older dog would be great as she could have a play partner but also learn from her sibling. Laney is in foster care in the Burien area. They are perfecting her housetraining and keeping her socialized. Lane is working on her basic commands and is already good on the leash. She loves being outdoors and will make a great exercise partner when she gets older. She’d love her new family to be hikers and can’t wait for new adventures. Lane is great with dogs and all people, but is a little timid when she first meets someone new because she’s had quite a few changes in her short life. She is very smart and a real ‘pleaser’ and so anxious and ready to get going on her new life! She is great in the car, enjoys her bath time and was the hit of vet office. She will settle in well and bond with you quickly. She is an Aussie- so needs an experienced dog owner who will enforce her training and understand her tendency to herd her family. Lane hasn’t been around cats that we know of, but as a puppy we don’t see any problems with her and kitty’s, especially with slow introductions. Lane needs a good-sized fenced yard to play in and only older kids for Lane due to her being a teething puppy and still learning how to not be “mouthy”. Lane has had her first vaccinations but will need you to finish her boosters, depending upon adoption date. She is crate-trained and micro-chipped.
