Landyn's Story
Meet Landyn, a 11 month old red bi Australian Shepherd (with a possible hint of Border Collie) and one of the most charming boys you’ll ever meet. His light blue eyes and signature curved tongue give him a smile you’ll never forget.

Landyn hasn’t had much stability in his young life, he survived parvo as a puppy and has been passed around more than any dog should. He was recently adopted and returned for being “too fixated” on cats, yet here in his foster home with three cats he shows no interest in them at all. He’s also great with chickens, making him a wonderful fit for a home with other animals.

Despite his past, Landyn is blossoming into the playful, loving, and joyful pup he was meant to be. He enjoys frisbee, swimming, and romping around with dog friends. He’s submissive, dog-friendly, and does bark when he’s having fun outdoors. He’s highly food-motivated, which makes training a breeze, he already knows “sit,” is potty trained, crate trained, and does well off leash.

Because he’s never had consistent structure, Landyn is still learning a few manners (like keeping his paws off the counter), but he’s eager to please and learns quickly. We’ve also switched him to a chicken-free kibble, and he’s doing fantastic. So he may have a mild chicken allergy.

At night, Landyn loves curling up next to his people, soaking up every bit of affection. His heart is as big as his goofy grin, and after everything he’s endured, he’s more than ready for a forever home that won’t let him down.
If you’re looking for a happy, loyal, sweet companion with the perfect amount of silly, Landyn might be your perfect match.

Fostered in South Eastern, WI.
