Lance's Story

Foster Mom update April 2026.
Just shy of 2 years old, Lance is the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and growing confidence. This sweet boy is full of life-always ready with a wagging tail, a bright smile, and a zest for every moment. Lance loves to run, romp, and play with other dogs. He's done wonderfully in playgroups with both males and females, showing great social skills and knowing how to adjust if another pup isn't quite as playful. He's eager to please and absolutely loves meeting new people-he's just waiting for someone to call his own.
Lance has been in foster care for nearly a year, patiently hoping the right family will see just how special he is. When he was first found, he was very fearful, but he's come such a long way and continues to grow in confidence every day. While he may still get a little spooked from time to time, with gentle encouragement and reassurance, he quickly finds his footing. Lance is ready for a forever home that will continue to nurture his confidence and celebrate his joyful spirit. Could that be you?

Lance was found as a stray in his foster mom's neighborhood. In the time that he has been in foster, he has become quick friends with another resident female dog. She has helped him gain his confidence and we have been able to witness just how happy and playful this boy is.
