Lamb Chop

Meet Lamb Chop

Lamb Chop is a 45-pound bundle of sweetness, snuggles, and just the right amount of chaos. This 3-year-old girl is the kind of dog who can go from zooming around the yard to curled up under the blankets with you in about 30 seconds.

Once a stray in a rural Louisiana town, Lamb Chop has somehow managed to come through it all with nothing but love to give. She's incredibly friendly, affectionate, and happiest when she's near her people. In fact, she's a certified Velcro dog-if you're sitting down, she's probably trying to sit next to you (or on you). Personal space? She's never heard of it.

But don't let her love of cuddling fool you-this girl has energy! Lamb Chop loves to run, play, explore, and let loose in the yard. She's looking for a family who will keep her active and give her plenty of opportunities to stretch her legs and have some fun. She especially LOVES water and will gladly go swimming with you. And after a good play session? She's more than happy to settle in for some serious snuggle time.

Lamb Chop is house trained and would love a canine companion who can match her playful spirit. Cats, however, are not her thing, so she'll need a feline-free home.

She's spayed, has completed her heartworm treatment, and is ready to leave the hard part of her story behind.

Lamb Chop is the whole package: playful, affectionate, adventurous, cuddly, and completely convinced that your bed is also her bed.

If you're looking for a dog who can join you for adventures, run around the yard, and then crawl under the covers for a cuddle, Lamb Chop might just be your girl.

Consider this your warning: once you meet her, your heart may never be the same.

PLEASE READ BELOW:

If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, the first step is to complete an application and read all of our FAQs:

https://www.takepawsrescue.org/adopt

Please note: Information to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application.
*An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application*
All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily.
