Lamb's Story
Meet Lamb — the hyperactive cuddle bug with a heart of gold!

Lamb is a 1-year-old Australian Kelpie mix with an adorable wiry coat, a huge zest for life, and an endless amount of love to give. She’s a high-energy girl who plays hard, loves hard, and cuddles even harder!

Lamb is extremely affectionate and wants nothing more than to be close to her person. She’ll curl up against you, nuzzle into your chest, and melt right into snuggle time. Because she bonds so deeply, she does best as an only dog—she wants you all to herself.

What Lamb Needs

• A patient, active home
• Someone who understands high-energy working breeds
• A person who doesn’t mind her playful “nibbling” at jewelry or watches
• Indoor companionship—she becomes destructive when left completely alone
• A calm, structured environment (she gets overstimulated easily)

Her Skills

• Kennel & crate trained
• House trained
• Will bark to tell you she needs outside or when she’s hungry
• Big chewer—needs durable toys
• Has completed extensive puppy obedience training

Her Past

Lamb came to us with a traumatic injury to her trachea, likely caused by being kicked in the throat. While heartbreaking, her symptoms are currently well-managed with natural treatments, and she absolutely doesn’t let it stop her from being playful, joyful, and full of love.

She is truly a dog you have to meet in person to understand her sweetness, silliness, and charm. Lamb will bond deeply with someone who appreciates her big personality and even bigger heart.

If you’re ready for a loyal adventure buddy AND professional snuggler, Lamb is waiting to meet you.
Fill out an application at www.hearts4paws.org
.
