Lalla's Story

Meet Lala

Lalla is an estimated 2-year-old, 45-lb beautiful shepherd mix with unique tan and black markings and the look of a “mini shepherd.” She has a gentle, sensitive personality—shy and reserved at first, but clearly curious and eager to connect. Once she feels safe, her sweet nature starts to shine through. With other dogs, Lalla can be a little coy at first, but she warms up quickly and becomes playful. She’s been around dogs of all sizes and really benefits from the confidence of a calm dog friend to help her feel secure.

Lalla was euthanasia-listed at a shelter after arriving with a group of dogs believed to be her family. Since leaving the shelter, she’s been slowly learning that the world can be safe and kind. She is crate trained, leash trained, and she’s making progress building confidence in busier urban environments. Lalla will do best with a patient adopter who understands that shy dogs need time to settle in and trust. Because of her timid nature, she’s likely not the best fit for a home with very young children. With patience, encouragement, and maybe a canine buddy, Lalla has so much potential to blossom into a loyal, loving companion.

Lalla currently resides in a foster home in Los Angeles, where she is available for meet and greets.

Trina & Friends K9 Rescue Application
https://www.trinafriendsk9rescue.org/new-page

#Lala #DevoreShelterSurvivor #RescueDog #TraumaInDogs #ShyDog FearfulDog ProgressNotPerfection RescueWorks FosterToAdopt NortheastFostersNeeded TrinaFriendsK9Rescue DogsHealing AdoptDontShop FosterSavesLives
