Meet Lainey! Lainey's story has not been an easy one, but she is ready for a new beginning. She was surrendered due to her owner not being able to care for her anymore. Lainey is an approximately 2 year old female Husky mix weighing 45 pounds is now looking for a patient, understanding home where she can finally feel safe and secure. Lainey is shy at first but has a very sweet nature once she begins to warm up. She is still learning how to navigate the world and will need an experienced dog owner who can provide guidance, structure, and patience in order to build her confidence and learns how to simply be a dog again. She will benefit from continued leash training and positive reinforcement to help her thrive. Lainey does well with other dogs and cats but has not lived with children. If you currently have another pet in the home, a meet and greet is suggested prior to adoption to help ensure a good fit for everyone. Her adoption fee is $125. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her basic annual boosters, and heartworm negative.
