Ladybug's Story
Meet Ladybug — affectionately known as “Buggy” or just “Bug” — a beautiful 12-year-old Malamute mix with a gentle soul and a love for the great outdoors.

Ladybug came to Imagine FURever Ranch after her dad faced a move that unfortunately meant he could no longer keep her. While change can be hard, Bug has settled into Ranch life with surprising ease and has already started making herself right at home.

This sweet senior girl is exactly what you’d expect from a seasoned northern-breed mix: calm, independent, and happiest when she has fresh air and cool weather. In fact, when winter rolls around, don’t be surprised if you find her stretched out happily in the snow instead of curled up inside with her roommates. Cold weather is definitely her happy place.

Ladybug is housebroken, knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, rides nicely in the car, and gets along well with children and other dogs. She’s described as easygoing, affectionate, and a dog who truly enjoys simply being part of the family.

At 12 years old, Ladybug is looking for a soft landing — a home where she can enjoy the simple things she loves most: a cozy place to rest, some sunshine (or snow!), and humans who appreciate the quiet companionship only a senior dog can offer.

If you’ve been searching for a mellow best friend with a fluffy coat and an even fluffier heart, Ladybug may just be your girl.

Adopt: https://bit.ly/AdoptIFR
Foster: https://bit.ly/FosterIFR
