Ladybug's Story

ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED FOR APPROVED APPLICANT WHO MEETS CRITERIA!

Ladybug is STILL looking for her adventure partner. And we have no idea why!!! She wants to be chosen! She’s 5 months old, fully vetted, & ready to take on the world as your loyal sidekick! Ladybug crate trained, walks well on leash, and is currently being trained in basic obedience. She is a perfect passenger in the car and does great for all things grooming related. Ladybug loves water and has a high prey drive- she would be an ideal candidate for a sporting companion for activities such as dock diving, lure coursing, fly ball, barn hunt, and just general outdoor adventures like hiking! She will do best in a home without small pets, poultry, or young children due to her natural instincts to herd. Cattle dog and/or shepherd experience is a must as her breed traits are strong. Please share Ladybug’s post so that this can reach her human! We don’t want to see her grow up in rescue.

Name: Ladybug
Age: 5 Months Old
Sex: Female
Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler Mix
Weight: 16 lbs
Located In: Campbellsville, KY
Temperament/ Energy Level: Medium Energy
Recommendation for Kids: 6+ due herding instincts
Relationship with Dogs: Yes
Relationship with Cats: No
Neutered/ Spayed: Yes
Crate Trained: Yes
House Trained: In Progress, doing great!
Leash Trained: Yes
Fence Required: Yes
Special Request: Would love a home that has experience with herding breeds and willingness to do training

PLEASE NOTE: To apply to adopt, the application and adoption process can be found on our website https://www.kyhopefulpaws.com/adopt.

Please read dog's bio carefully before applying.
