Ladybird’s FAQs

What is Dunn County Humane Society’s adoption process?

Our facility is appointment only, and if you are interested in adopting one of our companion pets, then you must fill out an online application. Once our Adoption Counselors have received your application, they will follow-up with you to learn more about your lifestyle, living situation, and what you are looking for in a pet! Then our Adoption Counselors will schedule a time for you to come to our facility and visit with the pets. The whole process can take 2-7 days depending on your schedule and our staff resources, and we offer appointments every day of the week. Our website is updated more frequently than our Petfinder profile, so please check out our website at www.dunncountyhumanesociety.org for more information about our adoptable pets, policies, and outreach.
