Lady Violet's Story

Meet Lady Violet

After raising the most adorable “Bridgerton” puppies, it’s finally Lady Violet’s turn to find the forever home she has always deserved.

Lady Violet is a 4-year-old, 110# Great Pyrenees who is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, HW-, chipped, and potty trained. She has spent much of her life outdoors, but during her time in foster care she has discovered just how wonderful family life can be. These days you’ll find her happily accepting cuddles, snuggling on the couch, using the dog door like a pro, and enjoying the company of our other Great Pyrenees.

She has been an absolutely incredible mama, patiently raising 12 beautiful puppies, and now it’s time for someone to spoil her.

Lady Violet requires a home with:

A securely fenced yard with a 5-6-foot fence

The freedom to enjoy both indoor comforts and outdoor adventures

A family that understands and appreciates the loyal, independent nature of Great Pyrenees

Like any true Pyr, Lady Violet enjoys keeping watch over her home and will let you know when she sees or hears something important. Her signature Pyrenees bark is part of who she is, so her future family should consider their neighborhood and be comfortable with a vocal guardian.

Lady Violet is wonderful with people and other dogs when introduced properly. She has been fine with her feline foster siblings as well. Respectful kids 10+ may be considered. She is gentle, affectionate, and quietly gaining confidence every day.

One area where she still needs patience is with leashes and harnesses. She has a genuine fear of both, as well as collars, and we don’t know what experiences in her past may have caused that fear. She will need a family willing to move at her pace, earn her trust, and celebrate the little victories. With kindness and consistency, she’s already shown us how much she can blossom.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will love you with her whole heart, enjoy lazy evenings on the couch, and faithfully watch over your home, Lady Violet just might be your perfect match.

She’s spent the last several months giving everything she had to her puppies. Now it’s her turn to be someone’s baby. If you’re interested in meeting Lady Violet, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Violet’s adoption fee is $375 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.
