Lady Roxy's Story
Meet Lady Roxy!
Approx 2 years old
Current weight: 64lbs

Lady Roxy is a young Great Dane mix with a playful personality, moderate energy, and plenty of goofy charm. She currently lives with dogs of a similar size in her foster home and loves having a canine playmate!
Roxy enjoys going for walks and is working on her leash manners. Her foster family has found that a harness helps with her pulling, and she’s continuing to improve. At home, she loves letting loose with some serious zoomies in her foster family’s 6-foot privacy-fenced yard.
She’s still a young girl learning the ways of the world, so she’s working on her manners—including being a little mouthy and barking when she wants attention. Her foster parents are helping her learn appropriate behaviors, and her forever family should be ready to continue that training and guidance.
Roxy can be a little nervous around men when she first meets them, but give her a few minutes and she warms up quickly. Once she’s comfortable, her sweet and playful personality comes shining through.
She crates nicely and actually enjoys relaxing on her comfy dog bed inside her crate. She likes to play with toys and balls, although she hasn’t quite figured out that the goal of fetch is to bring the ball back. You may have to do the retrieving for now!
Roxy is looking for a forever family who will continue helping her grow into the amazing adult dog she’s meant to be. In return, you’ll get a playful, goofy companion who is ready for walks, zoomies, playtime, and lots of love.

Before emailing- please read:
- Yes, this dog is available for adoption
-Lady Roxy adoption fee is $365
- Apply at c2cnd.org
- The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care.
- Local adopters only.
