Lady Peach

We rescued 12-year-old Lady Peach from Downey Shelter after she was surrendered by her owner for unknown reasons. She weighs 24 lbs. and is understandably sad after being left behind.<br/><br/>Fortunately, soon after becoming a Frosted Face, Lady Peach was chosen to go on a two-week Frosted Fling. It was the perfect opportunity for her to decompress in the comfort of a calm home, and by the end of her fling, Lady Peach's personality blossomed. <br/><br/>Her Fling Mom reports:<br/><br/>"Lady Peach is best mix of sweet and sassy, and she deserves someone to love on her everyday until her last. Lady is a girl's girl, but warmed up to my husband too. She gets along well with other dogs, including big ones. <br/><br/>Lady has good leash manners, does well in the car, and knows to potty outside. She loves to burrow in blankets and get cozy, but if you take the blankets out of the crate and put them in a bed, she will go to the bed where you can then give her scratches and pets, which she adores. She will thank you with little kisses and deep looks into her puppy dog eyes. <br/><br/>Lady Peach loves a little jaunt and will go "sport mode" if she has the energy, running and hopping up stairs with her signature bounce. <br/><br/>Lady Peach is a super chill chihuahua, she rarely barks and mostly sleeps. She lets you know when she needs to go out by whining at the door. We also learned that she loves getting a bath and being pampered.<br/><br/>If you meet Lady Peach on-site, please know she can be shy at first, but with time and trust, she will steal your heart. Away from the busy environment at FFF, Lady Peach settles down and shows you her true sweet and spunky personality!"<br/><br/>Lady Peach currently lives in a Foster home while she waits for her forever family.
