Lady Boxer Middlesex, NJ

Hi Everyone, I am ready for a new home!!!! I have a few health ailments, but don’t feel bad for me because those ailments caused me to be dumped so I can be saved and learn what a dog’s life really should be and now I am loving life. I wasn’t used to cold weather but I did survive my first NJ winter, but I’m still not a fan of any precipitation. I am completely house broken and my foster mom is amazed at my ability to hold it. For the first few months I was so tired while my body repaired itself that she had to wake me up to make me go out, but now I am feeling so much better and love going out. I even like going for walks and I love meeting new people along the way. I have a fungal infection in my lungs and some pretty bad allergies so I do pant and cough a lot in warmer weather, but I still love going out. I get really excited when I see other dogs but since I’m currently contagious to them I can’t play with them so nobody knows my intentions yet, but I am getting better every day! I don’t really notice cats and other animals too much but when I do I am intrigued. I love head rubs, playing soccer with my ball, meeting people, my crate, my blanket, and dog beds! I have a couple of dog beds and I like alternating between being in my crate and the bed.

My foster mom and I really love each other but she thinks I will be happier with a family of my own so I’m not always home alone when she goes back to work, but I don’t mind being home alone for too long. I also don’t like going up or down stairs because I have hip dysplasia, but hopefully my new medicine will make them a little less painful for me. I do like kids and get excited when I see them. I am very well behaved little girl who never gets in trouble because I don’t like anyone to be mad at me.

Overall I am really great family dog! Love Lady!
