Hi there! I’m Lady... but my rescue moms affectionately call me Lady Bug! <br/><br/>I’m a 3-year-old, approximately 85-pound bundle of pure LOVE, and I’m hoping you might be the person or family I’ve been waiting for. <br/><br/>I was found wandering the streets, and sadly, no one ever came looking for me. I was lucky enough to find a family who adopted me, and I did wonderfully with the family and kids. Unfortunately, I had an incident that resulted in an injury requiring surgery, and now I’m looking for a new fur-ever home where I can put all of that behind me and just enjoy being loved.<br/><br/>And trust me...I have SO much love to give!<br/><br/>I’m sweet, smart, VERY gentle, and eager to please. I’m not one of those dogs who needs to be running a marathon every day. Every once in a while I get a little case of the zoomies, but for the most part, I’m perfectly happy taking a leisurely stroll. I walk very nicely on a leash — although I sometimes stop, just to look lovingly into your eyes. <br/><br/>I have some pretty good manners, too! I know how to sit on command, but I also automatically sit when my person stops during a walk or before I’m allowed to go outside. See? I’m a lady! <br/><br/>Toys and fetching balls? Eh... they’re okay, I guess. But if you pull out some Pup-peroni or tasty treats, suddenly you have my FULL attention! <br/><br/>What I really want is to be an inside dog, right there with my people. I’d love nothing more than to curl up beside you on the couch, get some good ear scratches, and gaze lovingly into your eyes while I remind you just how wonderful you are.<br/><br/>Because that’s what I’m looking for — my people. A family, a couple, or even some loving seniors who want an easygoing, gentle companion would all be wonderful for me.<br/><br/>I don’t need a fancy life.
