She is an absolute gem. Lady has had quite the adventure since she’s been in the rescue… her first day included a trip to the vet that ended up with her getting a very LARGE kidney stone taken out. Lady is a little shy at first, but really is just a lover girl.

She’s most shy around other dogs, but foster parents say she’s snuggling with the other Dachshunds in the house just fine now - just took a couple of days. Important to note, they haven’t heard her bark not ONCE. Lady loves to cuddle, so if crate training is common in your home, know she will protest. She’s is mostly potty trained however after surgery + the post op meds she will occasionally tinkle a bit, but foster parents think that will go away once she is all healed!

If you want to help with this dog’s medical expenses:
https://therescuedrescuers.org/how-to-help

If you want to adopt this dog, apply at the link!
https://therescuedrescuers.org/adoption-application
